Initial consults include a full health history, pre/post-feeding weights, flange fitting & pumping support (if needed), a written care plan, a report to your health care provider, and follow-up phone and email support for two weeks.

  • $225 Initial Postpartum Visit

    $150 Follow-Up Visit

    Home visits are available for newborns less than 4 weeks old only for Initial Consultation. All subsequent visits, will be done at our office location in St. Charles, MO. A convenience fee of $50 will be added to all home visits and an additional travel fee will apply if milage exceeds 15 miles.

    Sliding scale for financial hardship - please inquire.

    Cancellation Fees - Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $50 fee. This fee is not covered by insurance. I will use the credit card on file to cover this fee or an invoice (payable online) will be sent to you.

  • The best way to prepare for all visits is to fill out forms (electronic only, no printing needed) and for your baby to be not too “hangry” or too full when the visit starts.

  • Office Visits:

    I’ve made every effort to help you feel at home!

    I have pillows, blankets, flanges, and many other helpful items. But sometimes having your own stuff can be helpful too, so please bring anything that you would like to have for the visit - this includes nipple shields, pumped milk, formula, bottles, your pump and flanges, your “Haaka”, your favorite pillows, or anything you may use for lactation and infant feeding.

    Home Visits:

    Home visits are limited in availability and by request only. Additional fees will apply.

    Please do not spend any time cleaning your home before the visit. I know how hard it is to take care of everything when you are newly postpartum.

You feel strongly about getting breastfeeding off to a good start as soon as your baby arrives. A prenatal breastfeeding consult is a perfect way to prepare, especially if you’ve struggled with breastfeeding in the past.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Consult

  • $225 virtual or in-office prenatal consult (1 hour)

    Includes a full health history, prenatal breastfeeding education on topics relevant to you, and a written plan to follow.

Flange Fitting and Pumping Support

If you are pumping and experiencing pain, discomfort, nipple damage, swollen areola, low output, or still feeling full after pumping, then a flange fit/breast pump consultation is for you!

  • $55 (in-office only) 30 min

    This is a shorter visit focused with the goal of finding the perfect flange fit. If you’re looking for a more in-depth consultation in regard to maximizing your milk production, please book an “initial postpartum visit.”

  • If you are using the flange that came with your pump, I can almost guarantee you are using the incorrect size. While some moms can get by using flanges several sizes too large, it’s less than ideal and can lead to problems.

    The proper fit flange is important for pain-free and comfortable pumping… and, MOST importantly, milk yield!

    Just as it is important to have the correct bra size it is important to have the correct flange size!

    In addition to standard flanges (10mm-21mm), we also carry Pumpin’ Pals and LacTeck flanges for you to try. A link to purchase your new flanges will be provided at the conclusion of the visit.
